Darya is a portrait photographer primarily focused on social and societal themes.
My work deals with social and cultural questions.
They offer an opportunity to observe oneself, others, and their interactions from an external perspective. This reveals the paradox of human nature - how much a person is individually whole and at the same time complementary to the surrounding society.
Like a puzzle piece perfectly fitting into the overall picture but differing in content.
I truly admire the essence of a person for this, in my view, it splits them into two parts. And the more modern the world becomes, the stronger the conflict between these two sides.
My passion is to observe and illuminate the struggle of identity and community through art.
